Overview of flowering plants with genomes sequenced and published

The  light brown  bars in the diagram display the total number of species for each family. The  brown  bars show the number of sequenced plant species, mouse-overs their genera. For showing the data compactly, all bars use a logarithmic scale. A  yellow  dot and its mouse-over refers to sequenced plant species that have been published recently (within the last 3 months).
